Renowned farrier Joseph Brandau has developed these shoes through many years of experience, first starting with the Egg Bar and then the Straight Bar styles in 1987 and since then enlarging the number and sizes as requests come in from the field, until now there are eleven different styles with some styles having as many as twelve different sizes. These shoes really do work. Horses that have been lame for weeks that are fitted with a pair of our shoes have trotted out of the stable like they never had a problem.
